Hailing from deep south Texas, I AM HEIR has forged a sound that is nothing less of punishing. July 2017 marked the self-release of I AM HEIR’s first EP, titled “Uncondemned.” This decisive EP helped catapult I AM HEIR, not only onto the local metal scene, but far and wide across Texas and beyond. The fourth quarter of 2017 would find I AM HEIR signing with Sancrosanct Records, based out of Lansing, Michigan; a partnership that is sure to blossom. In early 2018, I AM HEIR embarked on their first east coast tour, spanning from Texas to Maryland before returning back home to the south. Most recently, I AM HEIR vocalist, Matt Klein, who has spent the last week of July in Ft. Myers, Florida with virtuoso producer Chris Whited (1776 Recordings) to record the band’s next anticipated effort, The Resistance, which was released worldwide on December 22nd, 2018. Since then they have rebuilt their image, sound and lineup and plan to carry the torch for Texas based heavy music.
